Do Not check out books from here. They will charge you for damage that is from rain. I've been here two times and in those times they always find damage that wasn't there when I returned the books. I think they purposefully make up damage to get money for the library. Plus, they are very rude, the people that are in charge. I will not go back there. Just beware. Then when it's not your fault they make it so you can't rent from other libraries. I recommend Patterson because they have never done that to me and they are nicer.
A warning to anyone checking out books at this library … make sure you go through any books that you are interested in checking out before you leave with them because if you return a book that is discovered to have any kind of damage (and that can easily be the case especially with children’s books) YOU will be charged not only for the full retail price of a new book but the library will tack on a “restocking” fee. We were told that it was OUR responsibility to make sure that any books did not have damage. We had a very unpleasant conversation with the librarian about the fairness of this policy … even offering to pay the replacement cost of the book but not the restocking fee … but that was not acceptable. As a result we will simply find books for my grandchildren somewhere else.
Really nice and clean place to visit. The selection of books was great. The friends of the library books that are for sale were really cool and cheap. Plenty of resources and handouts. The sole reason for going was for the seed garden which was really awesome.
Love this library. Been going here 20+ yrs. I'm old school so I wish they could enforce the quiet-talking rule.
It's an ok place, but it's loud at times. Library is supposed to be a quiet place, yet they let kids scream and run around the place like it's a play ground. The staff doesn't tell the parents anything just allow it. If someone has music playing on their phone or laptop without ear buds they sure are quick to tell you to you to turn it down.
Very large. Was there volunteering for back pack give away. Plan on going back and checking it out further. Seemed like a very nice library.
LOVE this library! It's huge! The kids section is extensive as well as the fiction and nonfiction. There's lots of seating and available computers. They offer free classes and movie nights. You can even check out cake pans, audio books, new release dvds and TV shows, documenteries and even electric meters!
I just love this place every since I was a child. I love the fact you can call before you come out so you won’t make a trip it the book or Items are already rented out. Very friendly and informative
I got the grass that I needed and they were very helpful
